We make the process simple. Designing and building a hardened shelter is a process. We encourage owner involvement in a project to the extent they are available to participate. We provide turn-key / total solutions from initial concept to final project completion.
To begin, we suggest having an initial conversation about your requirements or alternatively, please complete the form below to assist with identifying the project requirements. Not all questions need to be answered.
We start the process by learning about where the project is to be located, who would be the owner and the shelter occupants, and what are the threats to protect against. Following an initial remote review of the project location and governing building regulations, ITAR requirements if any, and probable construction project logistics, we recommend an initial site visit for a fee to learn more about the project site and meet with you, or your designated agent/architect, to discuss detail project requirements. We then submit a proposal for design and program management services that may include engineering studies and investigations to facilitate the design process, including development of a preliminary project construction schedule and budget. Following owner approval of the schematic/preliminary designs, schedule and budget, we would enter into a contract for delivery of the project. Our delivery of a hardened structure / shelter project could be as the Owner’s Representative, Project + Construction Manager, Contractor, or Subcontractor. We are accustomed to working with the many different contract formats utilized worldwide.
